(020916) Day 1.... Our First Full Day!!

After a bit of a broken but long night's sleep we got up and headed to Disneyland on the 11.30am shuttle. Not too early but pretty reasonable considering we had barely slept the night before.

First on the agenda was Hyper Space Mountain which was very cool! As we began to go up the first hill I got overwhelmed again where we were!! Then we hit Star Tours and the kids and TL all went on Big Thunder Railroad whilst I stayed with the baby and hit some of the shops!! Since they're only there for two days I figured I have plenty of time to go on all the rides. So then they went on Pirates of the Carrebean and got fast passes for Indiana Jones - which broke down whilst we were on it and had to wait 10-15 minutes before it was fixed!! It's finally got going again but our ride was hopeless as nothing worked properly so they sent us around again which was perfect the second time!!

Then we headed to Autopia which we all went on.

Everyone went as a single rider to get on the Matterhorn....

We decided to head over to DCA after a little bit more shopping and everything was closing so we watched the fireworks and went to Tortila Jo's - a lovely Mexican restaurant in Downtown Disney for dinner.

We dragged out weary selves back to the shuttle and fell into bed just after midnight. An awesome day was had by all :)
