(060916) Day 5.... Goodbye TL, Jordan & Elijah, Hello Disneyland!

So this morning was time for TL, J and E to pack up and head to Reno all too soon :( so we said goodbye and caught the 11am shuttle back around to the Happiest Place on Earth once more :)

After heading to buy TL a Tshirt and hat that she'd wanted we headed to our first choice of the day: Big Thunder Railroad!!

Awesome!!

Then it was time for Pirates of the Caribbean! I hadn't been on this ride (or many) on this trip yet so it was great to be back!!

We still had a ride swap ticket from when TL and Jordan were here and it had no date on it so we jumped into the Indiana Jones ride next!! Thankfully no breakdowns this time :)

Jared and I were keen for the Jungle Cruise next so off we went!! I don't know why I don't recall seeing much of it but saw heaps today!!

Rumbling bellies took us back to the Village Haus where the kids liked the burgers and pizza (after we walked through the Castle again) and then we lined up for Peter Pan's Flight.

The kids let me drag them through the walk through of the Castle as I hadn't been through before.

Next we decided on the Matterhorn - we went as single riders so we could skip the line - which you are anyway and Jared and I got on the same cart two seats apart!!

Kasey was feeling average from the heat and so we thought we'd have a potter around on the Monorail. So the whole thing probably took 10 minutes lol and we were back at Tomorrowland so we jumped into the queue for Autopia and then had an ice cream to cool down :)

The 60th Anniversary finished yesterday. We are so well and truly blessed to be here again and additionally that we made it before the celebration was over. When we arrived this morning, the big Mickey pumpkin was up again!!

We decided to head over to DCA for a couple of rides before the park closed.

Just as we arrived the parade was starting so of course we stayed and watched that before we headed to Soarin' Over the World.

I wanted to try and use our rider swap from when it broke down and we couldn't ride on Saturday and the lovely lady let us use it. We didn't even have a ten minute wait!! It was amazing!!

Jared wanted to go on Grizzly River Run next and being that it was still so hot and only a 5 minute wait off we went!! Jared ended up going on twice and regretted it as his shoes ended up soaked through lol

We agreed the last ride would be Monsters Inc and then head back to the hotel. Not before Jared trying a humungous turkey leg lol, me a chimichanga and Kasey a churro :)

We got back to the hotel, Kasey dove into the bed, Jared dove into the pool and I dove into a champers and the washing whilst he had a swim. It was so warm!!

Tomorrow is supposed to be a stinker so we are having a rest day at the hotel and a swim. Whatever our little hearts desire ❤️❤️❤️
